Early sketches which were all about trying to find a good compromise on the products expression with respect to the brands visual roots.

The whole concept was based on the idea of single handed grassbox handling. Rather than the conventional thinking of lifting a saftey flap and then pulling the grassbox out - the Glider was intentionally designed for one handed use which would make it easier to use. The concept was that it had one handle which was driven by the vision of a jug kettle.While you empty the grassbox you can use your other hand to hold open the plastic bag or wheelie bin lid making the whole process of emptying a grassbox a no hassle affair.

Rapid prototype testing of the whole unit. Checking the grass fill capacity of the grass collector, as well as how easy it is to see that the box is full.

Storage of the product against a wall was a must as we knew from customer feedback that they wanted a compact unit to fit easily in their sheds. I did a lot of work on how the grassbox would visually look and also be assembled in a robust way.
